Q: How long has Dream Dinners been in business?

A: Dream Dinners began in 2002 and began franchising in 2003. We were the original company to launch what we now know as the Meal Kit industry.

Q: What is the total investment required to open a Dream Dinners?

A: The range of investment to open a new Dream Dinners location is $352,350 to $610,00. Ready to own locations are priced independently.

Q: Are we the right fit for each other? 

A: We are currently seeking community-minded individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who possess high energy and enthusiasm about our brand, as well as marketing skills and the ability to manage a strong team. A strong business acumen is preferred. If you have the desire to own and manage your own business under the requirements of our franchised concept, then Dream Dinners just might be the right fit!

Q: What are the franchise fees?

A: Ongoing franchise fees are monthly 6% of Gross Revenues but not less than $1800 and 2% Marketing Fund Contributions but not less than $800.

Q: What do I get when I pay my franchise fee?

A: Franchise owners receive use of an array of proprietary material, including the brand standards manual, trademarks and recipes, operating manuals, and in-depth training for you and your leadership team. We provide support for marketing your grand opening and send training staff to support you during the days surrounding your store opening. Additionally, we have a support team to assist with all aspects of the development phase.

Q: Is there a Marketing Fund Contribution and, if so, what is it?

A: The Marketing Fund Contribution is 2% of Gross Revenues but not less than $800, and it is used for the creative development and promotion of the brand for the common benefit of the Dream Dinners brand as a whole.

Q: What is the royalty fee?

A: Franchise owners pay a royalty fee of 6% of each store’s gross revenue. After one year stores are subject to a Minimum Performance Requirement. This fee provides access to use of the brand and ongoing support to our systems, processes, and training programs. 

Q: How did Dream Dinners do during Covid?

A: Dream Dinners excelled and grew during the pandemic as an Essential Business. Our brand pivoted quickly at the very onset of the pandemic and positioned the business as curbside pickup and home delivery to still serve our guest while keeping our guests and employees safe.
